Default New Guy

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to all the fine people on this site! I'm just amazed with the knowledge of people on the site. I should have joined a long time ago, my mistake, it's worth it's weight in gold..
I missed the peak of the musclecar era of the 60s since I grew up in the mid 70s here in Northeast Ohio. There still were quite a few cars around the neighborhood to make things interesting. Here are some examples;
1969 Dart GTS 340 4 speed dark green black interior my first ride , remember that for ever.
1968 Coronet R/T 440 auto gold with black interior, 3 1967 GTOs 2 white ones and 1 gold with gold interior and 4 speed, 1969 Road Runner convertible red with black interior and white top 383 auto, Gremlin X brown with tan interior 304 4 speed he sold it and bought a new 1978 Z28 silver with I think a red interior 4 speed. Totalled it within a week after hitting a pole. 1970 AAR Cuda 4 speed brown with black interior. Still around. Saw it a few years ago in the same condition. 1971 El Camino 454 SS auto red with black interior and vinyl top, totalled after a few months. 1977 Trans Am black with gold interior 4 speed. A friend of my Dad's bought it new and brought it over the house. I couldn't sleep for days after that. 1967 Shelby GT 500 light blue black interior 4 speed. I was offered to buy the car in the mid 90s but I just got my house and had zero cash.
I'm sure a missed a few cars along the way. Anyways thanks for reading!!!

Thanks for the welcome! My current collection has the following; 1964 Bonneville beige with saddle interior an original California car that's in incredible original condition, 1986 Monte Carlo SS black with gray bucket seat interior I bought brand new at the Chevrolet dealer I was working at, 2000 Corvette fixed roof coupe in pewter and a 2008 Z06 in atomic orange. Been looking for a 1967 GTO with a HO engine in original unrestored condition for years with no luck. Found a lot of but cars. You all know the kind I mean. It's original BUT it's has the wrong engine, it has original paint BUT it's been repainted etc..... LOL...

Welcome to the site! We all have a common interest, our love for musclecars and embrace all brands. Although we all have our favorite, and for me I lean towards Chevrolet but have owned, Fords, Pontiac, Olds and Mopar.

Looking forward to your posts/contribution to the site!!!!

Welcome!
This site is priceless. I visit here just about everyday and learn something all the time from the experts.

Good luck on finding a ‘67 HO in UFO (Unrestored Factory Original) condition.
I’ve owned 3 HO cars and they are a beast.

Chris.
