Idk the car or how stock it looks or how stock you w t it to look
I’d put forged internals w good rods, a nice cam doesn’t have to be roller I usually run a solid flat tappet myself but a roller gives more area under the curve . This is more useful in class racing than street where you can make that up w lift or duration without limits best bang for the buck will almost always be in head printing for NA engines boost doesn’t need that don’t forget it’s just an air pump so more air in the more air out the more HP it makes of your gonna get a rotating assembly why not stroke it too. Where does it end!
But personally I’d I want HP I bolt on a hair dryer and call it a day. Make 700 hp with ease and never look back. The beauty of a turbo is when you’re not in boost it’s a stock low confession smog engine basically that doesn’t get hot and usually you run a mild cam with it so it very drivable . All depends what you’re trying to do with it.
