Attached are pix of one of two '67 L79 Nova's discussed on this site in 2018, both with script valve covers, cast intakes and Q-Jet carbs.

The casting date from the block could settle this. I agree with cinovaparts that this is likely a '66 engine transplanted from a '66 loong ago. My .02.

I was at that Nova Nats in Belterra...met Dan and saw this 67 car prior to the resto that Wayne Bushey completed. Very cool car with the QJ setup...and of course the blue one that Jack restored was the bomb.
