Update, I just talked to Dale Murphy, one of the Legend Judges at the Camaro Natl's, he called Brad McAdam to confirm that my Dec. 1st, 1967 DF wheels are the earliest wheels known for a 1968 Z/28 with the date stamped by the valve stem.

That can't be true. There were several other 68 Z/28s built prior to 12/1/1967. What did they have?. There were 4 to 5 versions of DF wheels used for the 1968 model year..Joe

My Z is the second one on that list. The original spare wheel is dated 10/67 if I remember correctly.

First off Joe, I edited my statement about my conversation with Dale Murphy & Brad McAdam. Of course there are earlier cars built in Oct Nov & Dec but only have the DF stamped by the valve stem, the Month is stamped inside the wheel where it cannot be seen. If there is an earlier date than mine with the date stamped by the valve stem, let's see a photo. John K has a set of Dec DF wheels with no date by the valve stem.
