Very sad to see, and I doubt she is "OK". A hit that severe and no headrests surely resulted in a bad whiplash that will now haunt her for the rest of her days. I hope she is seeking medical and professional therapy recovery for this and the sooner the better, for any favorable outcome. I know many people who blow off the pain and stiffness as "temporary" and end up with a worsening condition....unfortunately, personal experience talking here...

Yep. I live in a tourist area, and the cell phone thing is totally out of control. People hit more buildings here than other cars. Seriously.
