The CY transmission was redesigned for the 50 Fred Gibb Novas. on July 12, 1968, a dealers bulletin was published concerning these transmissions with higher shift points and reinforced convertors for the torque and rpm's of solid lifter engines. The Novas were built the first 2 weeks of July, 1968. In showing of the transmission tag on this combination, the tag reveals a low serial number. Wondering what the 840 heads dates are?
