This is a pair of 1970 Chevelle original assembly line correct valve covers that I had rechromed with flash chrome, they are correct for LS6, L78 & L34. The passenger side hast the correct lower clip, the flat spot on the lower back corner & the correct top rear plug wire stand. The passenger side hast the correct small clip on the lower rear for the temperature sending wire & the 2 small clips on top for the TCS wire.
The difference between show chrome & flash chrome, is the 3rd layer of copper is omitted when doing flash chrome. I use3d the Chrome Shop in WI, to restore 11 pairs of BB valve covers at a cost of $255 ea. plus what I paid for nice originals that were not dented or rusted. I also have 67 Chevelle L78, 68 Chevelle L78, 67 Camaro L78 etc. $999 + shipping Last edited by 69L78; 11-23-2024 at 07:50 AM. |
