Just wanted to chime in since I saw a few of you trying to figure out sender repairs — I actually run Calibrated Classics and this is exactly the kind of stuff I help people with all the time.
I rebuild and calibrate fuel senders (including GM/AC style ones) using all new internals, proper resistance curves, and they end up looking close to factory when done. If your wiper is toast or the resistor’s burned up, I can usually fix or replace it, and I’ve done quite a few for 60s/70s muscle cars.
Pricing is way better than what some of our competitors charge — usually under $200 for most sender repairs.
If anyone’s stuck or just wants a second opinion before going DIY, feel free to shoot me a message or check out the site: calibratedclassics.com
I’m happy to help where I can.
