We first met at Dean Ribich's Chevelle gathering and barbeque back around 2001 and I have been following you since that time. Saying it has been an amazing journey for you would be an understatement. Watching you from the beginning I thought it was more of a pipe dream of yours, years later I earned more and more respect for your skills and determination and have now added you to the list of professional drivers in various auto sports that we know, watch and cheer for. You have some amazing talent. Keep it up and keep passing it along to your sons the way your dad did for you.

Thanks Rick! The respect is mutual!

The quick guys in vintage class are low/mid-11s on 200tw street tires

The quick guys in late-model class are low-11s, but a brand new completely stock (except 200tw tires) E-Ray Corvette with AWD hybrid was I think the first to get into the 10s.

Had a little fun at GingerMan Raceway on Friday running the Motorstate Challenge. Here's a fun video of me catching a C7 Grandsport Z07 to get a point-by.

Cool video! I love that you kept the stock steering wheel.

It's actually a Grant 930 (which I see now has been discontinued)
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/grt-930

I did run a repop rosewood wheel for a while, but the 16" diameter felt too big for tight slaloms where quick steering is necessary. The Grant wheel has the right look, but thicker rim and 14.5" diameter is a lot more comfortable.

It was 100 degrees out, so I was running the AC in grid and on the cool-down lap, but not during the track session. I was in a fire suit, gloves, helmet, etc, so I was very hot in the car.
