This is no car pic but is a funny one. Remember that this what the people looked like back then when they were driving our cars! Picture was taken January 1974. My father is the one on the left that looks like a mix between Shaft & Denny Terrio.

Rick no BS the brand name of those shoes were Big Motha's. That is actually what the company that made them called them!

Here is a cool pic that I said that I would post for Bill Pritchard.

I'm on the left (about 50 lbs. ago :-( ) with my brother and a friend standing next to my brand new 70 Hugger Orange Nova. 307 with floor mounted 3 speed. The dual stripe whitewalls and rally wheels lasted about one week before being replaced by Keystone mag wheels. The OEM exhaust went about a week after that, replaced by duals with glasspacks. I had the car only 5 months - too slow. When all your friends are driving muscle cars, a 307 and 3 speed doesn't cut it. It was replaced by a 69 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 with 4 speed.

Bill

I am happy to say I was, less than a month old when couch pic was taken. I say happy cuz I didn't have to see that style for very long. But I did have to see my dad with a perm in the late 70's. That was enough for me.
