Saw it run at the track for last years Reunion and it still looked like a race car to me [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

At $7,000.00 give or take back in '69 and the ZL1 engine, it was never just another Camaro, IMO.

Ok let me see if my math is correct? In 34 years from now the new batch of zl1's should be worth around 3.5 million dollars?....maybe so maybe not!!! no one knew or even anticipated the value of "these"or any other model car then!! They were purchased to race on sunday ..buy on monday!!! hence the term (just another camaro) No one in there right mind wanted to pay that price. They were not selling like hotcakes back then!
