Hello, another first time poster,been following this thread with interest, was looking thru my copy of "The Big Little GTO Book" by Albert Drake, on page 143 there's a picture of a RAV motor with the smog pump,etc on it. there's some quotes from George Delorean, on how he and a partner, tried to strike a deal with Jaguar, to get some engineless Jags, to transplant RAV motors in them, because Jaguar was having trouble passing emissions at that time.it fell thru, but he claims he was doing everything he could, to keep the RAV program alive! interesting info.
