Wow that's really neat. Since the Minnesota/GTO psychic hotline seems to be energized, I'll stick a plug in this thread to find my uncle's '70 GTO convertible red/red 455/4sp w/AC. Purchased used in '71 somewhere in the Twin Cities, titled in the names McDonough and Kimbrel until '79 or so.
(PS - If this car is sitting in a collection somewhere with its quote-unquote "original" engine, have the owner PM me and maybe I'll go edit out that comment about the 5 or 6 engines it went through during the "ME" decade. It'll be our little secret
