A few questions on the tach's. Did all 69 Yenko's come with Stewart Warner Tach's? Where they all the same model/appearance? Were they mounted on the column or to the gauge cluster housing? Finally, does SW still make a similar looking tach? Thanks in advance.

Not all 69 Yenko Camaros had SW tachs, only cars built prior to May 69. Starting at about the 06A built cars, they came equipped with factory in-dash tachs. The "standard" location for mounting the SW tach was by drilling 2 holes into the gauge housing, on the left side, in front of the speedometer. There were at least 2 versions of the SW 970 tachometer used, one was a standard "black face" with white numerals, and another was the "custom face" version, commonly referred to as the "greenline" variety. These were pedestal mounted tachs. Hope this answers your questions. -JB
