Default Re: Pair of 1969 Biscayne COPOs

Nice cars. I know where one of the L72 Engines is to one of the 546 that were made. I put it on the site a couple of months ago with the ID numbers, but no one could identfy,or knew where the car was. It was an LS stamp on the pad, Turbo 400.

I had the complete engine, from top to bottom carb to pan in my garage for a year, finally sold it a month ago. Completely rebuild to OE standards. Thought it was a Canadian car with the engine stamp. Sent the ID to George of Canada and he clarified it to be a Janeville WI engine out of a big Chevrolet, like Biscayne, or type.
Yes I know, should have kept it. Engine is still sitting at new owner as well.
