I guess I should stop by this forum more often than I have been... I might have been able to help you out.

I sold my 1970 LT-1 coupe recently (it's still here at the house, but leaving Sunday). Absolutely beautiful restored car... Tank sticker, ownership history. Not many options in addition to the engine (AM/FM radio, white letter tires, close ratio four speed, and alarm), but then very few 1970 LT-1s were delivered "loaded". Donnybrook green with light saddle vinyl interior.

LT-1 Corvettes have finally taken a nice jump in price recently... Expect to pay $60,000 or better for an outstanding coupe and $70,000 or more for a convertible.

Good luck!

Regards,

Stan Falenski

That sounds like a nice car Stan. Where did it end up going? I'll probably be taking another journey this weekend to look at one. We'll see how it goes.

Gary,

Yes, it is a very nice car... Lots of original parts. The car is heading to New Jersey this weekend.

Good luck in your search... Nice LT-1s are tough to find.

Regards,

Stan Falenski

Johnny, it's a different car. Stan's is a 70 and it is sold. I decided to keep my search confined to within a 8-10 hour drive of home so I'm not considering the one in CO. It looks nice in the pics though.

This car is now listed with no reserve. I looked at the pics on the web site that is mentioned in the auction and the engine compartment has been restored. Very nicely I might add!

I mentioned in this thread that I found a car. It should be making it's way home some time between this afternoon and Friday
