Any reason why the base 300 Deluxes (which in '69 for the 1st & only time were allowed to have the 396 motor option) were not the platform of choice for COPO Chevelles? Talk about a sleeper!

Bowtie & 300Deluxe badges, lighter weight, post, if desired, for better strength. etc.
