Re: Yenko Information
Hi Marlin,
I'm with ya. For us once we had our kids the cars went on the back burner (the business and family come first, cars and golf second). Maybe that is why for the past 10 years the Yenko has been driven about 20 miles a year. I did a little on Front Street with the Yenko (nobody wanted to run it) but did many nights at all of the favorite Philadelphia spots with my RAM AIR GTO. I am now 45 so I guess many of those nights were before your time (late 70's until late 80's) Well thanks for the update. Now I am just waiting to see if Nazareth Motorcars comes up with a VIN to verify if he once owned my car. How cool would that be? Keith |

Re: Yenko Information
Keith,
In NJ, an "A" prefix on the title indicates it's the second title (the first title transfer) issued in NJ. IF the car came in from another state, NJ used a "Z" on the first NJ title. As the title transferred from that one, I believe the "Z" was retained. Verne |

Re: Yenko Information
Hi Vern,
I purchased my car from my wife's uncle who never titled it. I have the "A" title so am I technically the second owner? Keith |

Re: Yenko Information
Hi Rob,
Thanks for the Vargo pics!! I wasn't able to make it this year. I see my friend Allen George brought his '62 nostalgia super stocker and the Bloody Mary Altered he restored. Interesting story on the altered. The frame was stolen a few years ago then turned up at a swap meet for sale. A friend of Allen's recognized it and bought it back for Al. In short order, the car was restored..... And now, back to our regularly scheduled program.... Verne |

Re: Yenko Information
Keith,
Yes, according to NJ you have the 2nd title issued. (The original title had no letter) Verne |

Re: Yenko Information
I always thought so, but never knew for sure. Now I really wonder if Nazerath Motorcar owned my car or not.

Re: Yenko Information
So Marlin, after you got the car was there just an old beat up Deuce sitting in the parking lot of the apartment? What a cool sight that would have been!

Re: Yenko Information
Hi guys, I think Karen Chev could have sold the original owner (Pa. resident) the car on the c.o. If that is correct then that car would have had a Pa. title untill at least 1973. I've been distracted lately. Hopefully, I'll be able to continue looking for the V.I.N.

Then some old ladies ratted me out, and the apt management got on my case. I had it all covered up though, most tenants just thought it was my previous '72 SS Nova - but it was sold to fund the purchase I'll dig out a pic.
