Default '68 Olds conv. look familar? Guesses welcome.

Does this car look familiar to anyone?

ebay '68 Cutlass convert

By what I could find out, originally just a Cutlass w/ 442 badging but does it look a bit 'famous' for any reason?

I'll post a link tomorrow if anyone wants to guess 1st. It may, in fact, be a clone of a clone

Looks like the 442 convertible that was used in a Chicago music video.

The serial number he lists is for a 442, but the cowl tag shows Cutlass. Appears to be a 350 as well.

Bingo and Bingo!
Dave and Steve hit it on the head. That stupid song "Stay the Night" started running through my head as I was reading the listing...funny how the brain works.
Stay the Night on youtube.com
The only difference I noted from the video was the fact that one of the cars used for the video appears to be a manual car (maybe this is one of the cars from the video shoot?), and the rims.

According to the VIN, it's not a 442. Because apparently every 68 442 has to start as "344878XXX...". Feel free to correct me on that though.

You guys just won my nerdy 80's trivia appreciation.

On the Olds cars, the body tag would likely show Cutlass (3367, but the VIN would be 344 - then 87 for Holiday Coupe, or in this case 67 for convertible. The Body tag and the VIN wouldn't be the same.

Motor painted "350 Gold", but it's hard to tell on the Olds motors sometimes.
