I think I saw a pic of the 270 block, so I believe the original engine is with the car.

Steve, If you ship MATSON Navigation via Port Of Seattle, I often times work there and know the operation and people. Let me know if I can do anything to help coordinate the transporation process.

I like the idea of getting the engine and tranny installed and showing it "as found" at SCR-10 this summer...I'll see what Brian, Joe and Frank can do to make that happen.

The scattershield and M21 tranny are presently in Bert's '69 Camaro, but he's agreed to remove them in time for the mainland shipping.

Thanks for the help, Chuck...I may take you up on that, depending on ground transport arrangements to SCW in PA.

Here's shot of the 427 engine [3955270] that Dana installed.
