Default decoding protecto plates

Hello, I'm a impala.net member and a newbie here but have enjoyed the site for the last year or so, very entertaining and informative. I bought a 1966 Caprice 2 door last fall and I am getting ready to start a restoration. I would like to confirm a few things, but I am stumped and need some help. The car has the 396/325 with a 4 spd, air, power windows, no power brakes or steering. I bought a "CHEVY BY THE NUMBERS" book and have matched the numbers off the block and the trans. to a 1966 full size car, but when it comes to the protecto plate, I am a lost puppy. Is there any websites to decode the protecto plate numbers? I have seen plenty of Caprice's on the net with the 396 but none with the 4 speed and would just like to confirm what I have is original to the car. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
