I am no longer interested in this Nova.....I perceived car as a survivor, unmolested car...which apparently is not the case.

Hell, I havn't been wild in 20 years. Mentally out of control might apply though.
I visited with a person with knowledge of this car today. I think it sounds like good potential for a project, with what sounds like enough paperwork to verify what it originally was. Kind of a reverse situation from most. Some have parts, and clues to lead you to the conclusion that they most likely were L78s. This one appears to have paper proof that it was a L78. I guess if you start with a sure thing, vrs a maybe, it ought to count on the plus side. Startin price is pretty high. Maybe half that and see where it goes.
Personally I love those old B body Danas in 3rd gen novas. And you ain't gonna break it.
