Sorry, didn't mean 'hawked' in the sense of trying to sell 'em, but that we've been kickin around with them trying to figure out the application! I know you've never tried to sell 'em, 'cause I would've bought a pair!

One story I heard a looong time ago was that they were a motion item for the vegas, but that didn't quite make sense when we found out that a set was found in the glovebox of a Deuce.

I think the fender application sounds quite plausible. Are they in the parts catalog?

No, but I do know there were a few dozen sets produced (at least)

As usual you guys have been a wealth of knowledge! Special thanks everyone for trying to help! And to Joe Barr once again it was a pleasure speaking with you. The car should be complete in a week or so. I will gladly post a couple of photographs if anyone is interested.
