Hey Ed....

I'm glad you asked about pictures.... I know there's an old photo album stashed in the attic somewhere that should have a handful of photos showing quite a few of my muscle cars from long ago.

So now I need to go searching for it (maybe tonight) and then figure out how to get my darn scanner programmed.....

your best bet is to try and remember where the Nova went. do you remember if it stayed local or was heading out of town?

The Nova with the L89 stayed local to the SF Bay Area for quite a while if I recall (it was quite fast and well appreciated). I believe the owner was killed later while racing motorcycles and his brother sold the car to who knows where???

A funny thing about driving the Black Nova: It was a bench seat four speed car and you absolutely HAD to wear your seat belts while driving it or you would slide all over the place and lose control. I "Armor-alled" the daylights out the interior and you couldn't get a grip on anything....

lol on the armor all. if you can remember that the nova built a reputation than someone else has to remember the car. the key to any back tracking is knowing where the car was located for a time being as there is always someone who remembers the car.
with the info of knowing that the owner possible perished while racing a motorcycle your definately narrowing down your search. i think first thing is you want to make sure you absolutely CAN NOT find the original motor. if the Nova made it around for a while it definately has people who know/remember it.
i successfully tracked down my dads 70 GTO Judge on here 4 years ago strictly based on people and location around a certain time frame. dont give up.
