Default 'repro'--broken x-ram intake wanted for 69 Z...

I need a X-ram intake that I am going to cut up and weld extensively in order to fit another application. So I am looking for a x-ram intake that is broken beyond repair..or ideally a blem of one of the newer GM licensed "repos". Unfortunately,I can only use a GM or GM copy because I am going to use an original GM top plate and the aftermarket (Edelbrock, Offy, etc.)intakes are not compatible...

Thanks, Max

Did you try Jim at Heartbeat City? Jerry Macneish? Rick @ Rick's camaros? I'd think any of them would know a source. Good luck, BCD.

Are you modding it for the hemi heads?
If so, have you contacted Al Maynard?

hey Eric....yes, that is my plan at this point. I am going two routes..one is to fab an intake for a Weber set-up..(I know that will work)..and the other is to make a x-ram from a factory intake...(not so sure how that will work??)

I thought Al sold all his stuff to Jim at HBC...do you have a contact number for him? I was always under the impression that there were more heads than intakes made....?? It has been over 10 years searching for an intake..with no luck...

thanks, max
