Do any of the restortion parts suppliers sell the correct engine mount bolts for a '69 BB Camaro?
I have looked through the online catalogs, but im not sure how correct they are. The assembly manual shows only a bolt for this, not a separate Bolt and Lock washer. The Parts Manual, dated 1970, shows the bolts to be 3/8-16 x7/8. I believe this bolt has a "tall" hex head with a recess and a built in lock washer. For the frame mounts, the assembly manual shows only a bolt and a nut. The restoration parts suppliers show a bolt with a built in lock washer, a flat washer and locking nut. The parts manual describes the bolt as a 1/8-16x1 1/8. It makes no mention of the nut and does not show a washer. There were a set of small block frame mounts, with a couple of bolts which looked original, at a flea market this weekend. The bolt looked similar to the engine mount one described above and the nut appeared to be a flanged nut. What is correct? Thanks in advance.
