Default Rallye Green Yenko

Can't your guys write a more informative ad than this?

http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_de...p;entryRow=779

Original sheetmetal? Original engine/trans/BE rear? 837 alt, 499 dist, 163 intake, 4346 carb? Dealer/owner history?
Certified Yenko in the Registry? I guess it's real because it has a Sat 7:00 spot

Isn't the ad the responsibility of the consignor, not Mecum?

----Agreed, Howard! If the owner doesnt give them the info how are they supposed to do anything about it? Yes, it would be nice but each owner writes those descriptions the way they see fit.....Bill S

So, it's the F41 suspension, power front brakes, tach, 140 speedo & distinctive graphics that 'identify this rare & desirable machine'? All this time I believed it was the vin/bdy #, documentation and / or original drivetrain components that ID the car.
Could the owner of a real Yenko have written text like that?

I just sold a Rally Green SS and have another one in project form for sale but nobody seems interested. Rally Green is one of my favorite colors.

Is there anyone here that knows who restored this car or who the previous owners were?
.... Would someone from the Mecum Auction give this info?

.... I would think it would help draw serious buyers

... Is that an "Endura" front bumper.... on a Yenko?

.... Could it be a Jack Douglas car?

.... Or is it a clone?

.... which ever it is.....

... The restoration looks great in the photos!
