Default 70 LS6 Chevelle project, original drivetrain

I started a high end restoration on this car, but due to family medical issues we've had, the LS6 is now up for sale. It is a project, but I believe you would be hard-pressed to find a nicer car to complete anywhere. Cortez Silver, black buckets, console, M22, cowl induction, 4.10 posi, and factory gauges. "Born with", matching numbers, or whatever the current terminology might be, this car retains its complete original drivetrain. I purchased the car with the help of Chris White and have already talked to Jeff Dotterer about having the car Diamond Certified upon completion. After talking to 3 of the previous owners, the 37,xxx miles on the odometer are believed to be factual. Per the second owner, the car was painted black in 1974 from the Cortez Silver. Originally from Oklahoma City, the car was taken to Montana in 1989 and parked.
The body is extremely nice and would require only MINOR repairs before paint. It would be an "all original sheetmetal body" when completed. The estimate for body and paint was many thousands under what I was expecting making this resale even more valuable to the new owner when the time comes for paint. The frame and all the chassis components are virtually pit free and very nice.
I have amassed approximately $16K worth of NOS and restored parts. The car is priced at $40K plus the parts. $56K. After restoration, you guys know that this car would be at or around $120K. Maybe even more due to the sheetmetal and low miles. Oh, and it's a 4sp car. I will put the car back to "roller" status for ease of transportation. The car will be very easy to finish.

Call for a detailed description. Photo link below.

If Chris White gave it his "Stamp of Approval" it's good enough for me!

I'm sure she'll find a nice new home.

Solid car! Noticed the twin fuel lines. When did the LS6s transition from a single fuel line to double lines? Rick?????? Thanks and good luck to you!

..Is this Ken Holsens' old car?
I see it's a June Arlington car.Any luck finding a buildsheet?
What's the date on the spiral shocks & did they originally come with it?

Double lined 768 pumps weren't LS-6 specific.Used on LS-3,L34,LS-5 also.
They're considered a later pump as generally mid to later assembled got them during 70 production, but a scarce few still got the 727 within that timeline too.

I do not have the first owner, 70-74, but he was from Oklahoma City. I know the dealership it was sold at and the date. I have the other owners, but Ken isn't one of them. It would be nice to find the first guy. Looked under the tar paper with no luck on the buildsheet. That's one of the reasons I had Chris help me with the purchase.

Front shocks are original and dated 41-70. I've heard that the pumps switched over to doubles sometime between March and April. ??

Wow Curt. You have been trying for several weeks as have I and others and it sells here in a matter of days! Sweet. Congrats to the new owner, you have a nice basis to start with.
