Wow, that's a rare one with the '88s.

Question 68 l78/4.88

This car is all about the rear...without any of the original drive-line I question the ROI if you added all the correct pieces. Finding a date code correct 4.88 rear won't be easy...when is the last time you saw one??

Of course, I may be wrong, but it would be like you were building the car to match the paperwork...and without that factory 4.88 rear, I just don't see it.

If i were to buy this car, no way would it get a total restoration. I would clean this car from top to bottom, buff the original paint, leave the interior with a good cleaning, and fix that bottom drivers seat.

That’s what I did to my car and am very happy with the outcome.

I think this Camaro is a keeper, Camaro’s are popular and I would think this old girl will bring much joy!!

It's not original paint.

Guess i didnt read that article to well. So is it the original paint code green when repainted? If it was or was not the original color, i think i would still leave it alone with a good buffing. Just my thoughts.

Agree this is a nice 68 Camaro roller. Drop in a 396-375 Engine with a close cast date block and 840 rectangular heads cast date close and 163 Aluminum intake. So much potential. I like the 69 Camaro's better. But this still would work.

I like it.....a perfect Day 2 project. As stated above, build a 396/375hp, Muncie 4-Speed, a tall gear out back, wheels, gauges and drive it! With documents to boot!
