Default Pool Vacuum recommendations?

Any glowing recommendations for an automatic pool vacuum?

Currently have a Polaris model that has become more trouble than it is worth to keep working.

Do they make a free standing version, like a water borne Roomba?

I have the Tigershark, only complaint is it is exactly 1/4" narrower than the distance between the rails of the pool ladder and it climbs up and gets wedged in there.
Works awesome, 20x40 inground, 10.5 deep.

Thank you both; that should keep me busy for a while.

(but not too long. My pool is getting gross).

Man I sold 2 last year cheap, I moved, no pool now. I had the Hayward lady bug and the dough boy One, that has a flat rubber disc on the end, can’t remember the name, but this one has no moving parts to replace. Both were good.
