That’s right here in my back yard. I’ve never seen the car... thanks for pointing it out.

Were 67 Z28's available with a 3.31 rear axle?

Don’t know Bill, but I don’t think any of the drivetrain is original in that car. Looks clean enough...would make a fun driver at the right price.

I heard back from the seller’s agent, and they do not have the POP, nor any other documentation. No idea of the selling dealer either. Without any original drivetrain components, I guess their claim of it being a Z28 hinges on the trim tag...
Seller is looking for $68.8k firm. |

From the add; Restored as Original 67 RPO Z/28, 302 ci. 290 hp. 4-Speed V8 Hardtop Sport Coupe
True Bolero Red Z, 1 of 602, restored as original, dosen't say it started out as one of the original 602. |

It was owned by a different guy in Canada who restored it circa 2007. He said it came out of Georgia. There was no original drivetrain in it and no P-O-P at that time.

hate to say not possible, but I have never seen a 3.31 in a first gen Z.
3.73 standard, 4.10 performance, and I THOUGHT 3.55 economy (there's a euphamism). Several 4.56 around. Never seen a 3.31. There is a chart somewhere showing what was available, but I can't find it right now. To add to the confusion, there is very little dealer order info, as the Z/28 was a bit late to the dance in 67. Can't imagine it being too fun to drive with a 3.31 rear.
