1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Convertible
I was interested in this car when it was at the Indy July event where it sold for 82.5k. (Lot T169)
https://www.mecum.com/lots/SC0520-41...s-convertible/ It is now back at the Fall Indy event..(Lot F154) https://www.mecum.com/lots/FS1020-44...s-convertible/ Same pics and info...being a rookie at these auctions...do "Sold" cars come back this quick? Thank you. |

With Mecum they seem to. Mecum has an "investment" arm that also buys collections and its hard to determine whether they run things as "sold" to the investment arm and then rerun them later, or if they buy cars that bidders flake out on to keep consignors happy or ?. Worst case would be them buying back reselling a car that got pushed back by a disgruntled buyer. I think it would be fair to call Mecum and ask what the story is on that car being re-run so quickly before you bid.
