Default 1969 Z on ebay

This seems like a nice car for the money?

----It kinda depends. If you can live without the smog equipment it would be OK as that will cost some coin. There's other stuff like the dipstick and tube that aren't that big a deal, but you get where I'm going. Do your homework and by all means call in an expert to go over it. If you need recomendations just ask here and someone will point you in the right direction.......Bill S

Thanks Bill. I kind felt that people would share their thoughts. I was actually hoping some here knew the car or the owner

This same guy sold a Lemans Blue with White houndstooth z/28 a couple months ago for $37,500 buy it now. Had a CE engine, but was very legit.
I think that was a deal.

Hes about an hour and 15 minutes from me. I would want to see what the driveline stampings and how many expensive components are here.
Alternator, Distributor, Carb, Radiator, Wheels are a few things that easily can add up to $6000 or more.

I thought this: Copy/Paste from William via Camaros.org... "Most RS grilles were molded in black as that was the standard color. However a factory black RS would have an argent grille; those were molded in the same off-white plastic and painted argent."

I expect that this car started out as a non RS car. Wiper motor not correct, headlight doors don't close anywhere near as they should. I would expect if you look hard there are a ton of other items wrong.

Worth checking what seller defines “matching numbers” to mean.
