Default original GM 3899621 bell housing

Price:$200
Hi Friends,

I have an original GM bell housing - 3899621 / 621 which is certainly genuine and is in as found condition with no fluffing or even cleaning - ready to clean up and use as is for a patina'd original car.

It's clearly been off a car for years and is dirty & dusty as shown - it certainly needs cleaning, but no repair required that I have noticed.

And when tapped, it, of course, rings like a bell - no cracks is my conclusion.

This is of course the 3899621 bell housing for a factory 11" clutch - should also work for any Big Block or car that used the big clutch, LS5 L78 L34 L35 L89 L71 and SS350 Camaros. 1970 Z/28 cars as well I believe.

A nice piece not often found in original condition anymore and a perfect start to restore or use now after cleaning - bolt holes all look good and threads and tabs - includes the transmission mounting big bolts and lock washers as shown.

See the photos below. I do have this cross posted.

Thanks again, cheers everyone.
Anthony

Correct for second gen Z28s thru 73, and probably 74 as well.

Actually, not correct for Z/28, 67-69. They use the 403.

Also not correct for ZL1. For some reason that application uses the 403.

70 and later (at least through the early 70s) Z/28 does use the 621, as does 70 and later LT-1 Corvette.

Corrected my post to what I really meant, since Anthony had mentioned 70 Z28s in the OP.
