That is a helluva chop off list! I read where some dealers had a hard time moving the wing cars and some even took off the nose and wing to put them back to straight RRs or Chargers to get them off the lot

nobody wanted them back then, which makes their current value amusing to me. They were just so 'over the top' for a street car. My friends and I would laugh at them anytime we saw one, which was rarely.

New Year Special likely Jan. ‘71 as Raceway was running Ads for it at the same $ Nov. ‘70.
11/09/70 Ad notes 440 also 11/06/70 price includes refinish in color of your choice?

Very true that they were unpopular when new. I remember a Dodge dealership that was local to me at the time still had one or two unsold 69 Charger Daytonas when the 71 models were on the lot. And I don't care how much they're worth now, still not my cup of tea.
