Default Parts Cleaner - cleaner fluid recommendation

What do you all recomend for a good cleaning fluid for a small size parts cleaner? I see a variety of brands etc, need to order 5 -10 gallons worth.

appreciate the advise

I agree with Mineral Spirits. I've tried a few of the non-toxic, environmentally friendly products but they just don't work nearly as well. Some will come close, given enough time to soak, but if you want greasy, dirty parts clean in a reasonable time, its MS. It will leave a slightly oily film when dry, which helps protect bare metal but if you are going to paint, the parts will need to be cleaned with Dawn and/or a good, solvent based, wax and grease remover.

I wasn't aware of that Crown PSC, but it's about half the cost of 5 gallons of mineral spirits now. If it works as well, it's a better solution.

I’ve used Crown cleaner for years, good stuff. Made in the town just north of me. I thought it was sold exclusively at Walmart but guess I’m wrong.
