Z/28 coil
It is my understanding that a 69 Z/28 [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] cowl induction car uses a 270 coil and a non cowl car uses a 293 coil. Is this correct? If so, what is the difference? I have seen pictures of both and other than the numbers they look the same. Is the 270 shorter to clear the cowl breather? Surely the voltage requirements would not differ. Any way, hoping some of you more knowledgeable people can clear this up for me.
