Default Dixco Tack

I have had this tack for a dogs age
dont know much about it except from this site
members talking about It. Can someone shed some light on this tack???It is a DIXCO MIN. 8000 rpm.

I believe it's circa mid-late 70's. I assume the housing is plastic? It is similar in overall appearance to earlier Dixco's, but the typeface/font is different.

Joe its a metal body tack with plastic front cover.
