M22 Muncie from a Chevelle - Perfect for an LS6
This is the transmission you need if you're building an LS6. I'm asking $2,200 plus shipping from 94579 (san leandro, ca). I'm a regular over at team camaro and pro-touring.
Email is steve at ptcamaro.com I've got a Muncie M22 that I've had in my 68 Camaro since 1993. Less than 2,000 miles ago I rebuilt it with the following: - New input shaft (GM) - New Synchros - New dogs and rings - New shift forks - New Bearings The box is in great shape. I've never abused it. It shifts smooth. I replaced it with a Tremec and don't need this tranny anymore. Here's the info: Main Case # - 3925661 Tailshaft # - 3978764 Side Cover # - 3952648 Stamped P0A16C - The best I can tell is: P-Muncie 0 - 1970 A - January 16 - Sixteenth Day C - M22 VIN is: 10K160434 The best I can tell is it's a 70 Chevelle. (Anyone know this car?) Here's video of the internals: http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...t=MVI_1370.flv and a few pictures http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1349.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1362.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1366.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1356.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1355.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1353.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1351.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1369.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1372.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1376.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...e/IMG_1373.jpg

I really like the fact that you posted it on our site
so that maybe it could be reunited with the orig car thanks. I would really like to think that someday I can find my orig m22 for my 68 Camaro that was sold out of Windsor Ontario Canada with a 63 chevy 409 that went to California about 14 years ago. last 3 digits 916 PJ |
