Do you use "black/aqua" or "gray/white" trunk colors for '69-'70?
The old Dupont 389-259 spatter finish was labeled "gray/black/aqua", but when sprayed, looked like dark geay & white.

They DO make a 1/8 NPT helicoil. McMaster Carr #91733A401 with tap #91711A251. Also 1/8 NPT is 27 TPI.

You can buy the hinges directly from GM. I recently bought a pair, but they come painted black and you need to have them phosphated to make them "correct".

I believe that the 'flutes' should face the engine, not the radiator. (at least for the circa 1968)
