Default 1970(?) Nickey nova for sale

I was BSing with a friend last summer and asked if he knew where i could find a period 396 for my Z11 and he says he has the perfect motor for it. I ask him what it is and he says its a 375/396 out of his dads old nova. A few days later i go over to have a look-see at the motor and sure enough, it's legit. The block has already been boiled+prepped, stock bore, pistons, rods, refurbished heads, matching alum. intake, even has the original cam! I ask what he wants for it and he says he'll have to ask his dad. I didn't want to push it on the motor, so i asked about the rest of the car. He takes me out to the garage and in the corner sits a dark blue nova hiding under a cover. It could really use at least one quarter due to rust in the bottom edge, bu the rest of it's straight & clean. It's all there. How should i go about getting this car without blowing it?! I don't have the money or room right now but sheesh! What do you guys think this would be worth? Thanks for any feedback.
