The PA 'Request for Vehicle Information" form states that information is available for the past 10 years only. Any guesses as to how accurate or truthful that statement is? Any other source of title searching? I have back to 71 and likely only need to go back one more title to get to the original owner, assuming it is a different owner than the '71 title states. Anyone able to do an NICB search? I used to be able to get this done but am having difficulty now.

I just put in the for the PA title search. I've owned my car since 1992. If you read, you can call the DMV number to find out how many records they have. When I called on mine, they had 4 records. Obviously they had ones older that 10 years. I trust it will be worth your time to make the phone call. Into is on page 2.

It kills me that cars with 4000 miles could be this neglected

Talk to Marlin, he told me how to do a pa title search and it showed the name of the original owner and the date it was first registered in 69 for my JL8 Z28

I did get to crawl into the back of my car tonight and look for the crayon markings on the rear seat support. I expected to see an X6, verifying the X66 trim tag and I took a few pictures. I didn't realize until I got into the house that there was actually X66 375 marked below the glue. Cool - I have never seen the engine designation written, only an X6, X3, etc, or even a DG3 as is the case for my 69 Z with Dark Green interior. Has anyone else seen markings with an engine option noted? I'll try to get some better photos tomorrow.

Here is a direct post of the above attached pictures, plus, as requested, a closer up view of the traction bar sticker used and a reference to the item in the Motion catalog.

Brian glad you enjoy the Camaro you purchased from me. Seems you found history on the car after it left Ky. That is different than what I was told when I purchased the car. I have a picture of that tach if you need it.
