Anyone else notice the 4 GALLONS of gas on the invoice for $1.20 TOTAL...
I took delivery of a 1968 Honda 350 in the spring of that year. When I left, it was running on reserve tank and there was a gas station right across the street. I put almost 3 gallons in and it about 75 cents.

I did! And see that gas is a little more than twice as expensive now, all things considered, which after 55 years isn’t that crazy…

A 1967 $1 is worth about $8.66 in 2022. So, that means $1.20 then is $10.39 now adjusted for inflation for 4 gallons which is $2.59 a gallon and that’s a little less than half a gallon of 87 around here today. When you consider they likely put in high test it skews it a bit more. Anyway… I’d like to see gas for $2.59 again, which wasn’t that long ago. Hah.
