This engine was originally built for my 67 Base model Day2 big block swap project so it is by no means a pure 67 engine.
It is a 70's 2 bolt (studs) main block, 077 heads, 198 intake, 3521 crank, list goes on. With all that in mind I wanted this engine to look like a NOM built up with all of the 67 touches swapped over. Some of the 67 only goodies include but not limited to: March 67 3910 Alt+Pulley Valve Covers Crank/Water Pump Pulley PCV Brackets (square tab pcv hose clamps installed after pics taken) I used thick valve cover gaskets and studs to clear the polylocks. The RH temp sender on the intake is for a sun greenline gauge The M/T Super Scavenger headers fit absolutely perfectly I installed the shifter into final position after mocking up the seat, steering wheel, and console. (the shifter is in gear in the photo because my 4 year old son was "driving to grandma's house" Last edited by jbtech; 09-17-2023 at 07:57 PM. |
