If they were working before correctly, it could be a poor ground as mentioned. Every limit switch has a ground wire, 4 switches. Check at the side not working. The headlight door should open by hand gently even if the motor stopped working. The motors can be checked by disconnecting the electrical connection and checking with a 12 volt power supply. Positive to one part of the connector, negative to the other. If you reverse the polarity motor should turn opposite direction. I have some spare parts and rebuild original motors.
