Few pics of the “A69” underneath the firewall paint for the Cortez silver, wax crayon mark from fisher.
Also curious why the vin is stamped twice behind heater box 6 inches apart? |

Novas were always stamped there with the hidden vin. Camaros had a third on top the firewall. Reason? Who knows, maybe thinking two panels would be harder to change for theft.
What month was that car produced? |

What was your process to remove the paint without disturbing the grease pencil marking? Do you know what the extra hole was for? Looks like a punch was used to make it?
What a Great find, Thanks for sharing |

400 grit sandpaper wet and young eyes lol. There’s a couple extra holes from someone that thought a punch would be better than a drill….

69W314spd,
Cool find. Bog standard for Novas. A 69 to match the trim tag. Black Interior / Cortez Silver. 2 VIN Stamps was just how it was done as Kurt stated. Greg
